Experience Dragon Boat Steering

Bring your leadership talents to the helm! Being a dragon boat steerer offers a unique and fulfilling experience, combining responsibility, strategy, and the satisfaction of guiding a team to success. Steering a dragon boat involves more than just controlling the long steering oar; it's about understanding boat dynamics, reading the water, and ensuring the safety and efficiency of the crew. Steerers develop a strong connection with the boat and the team, collaborating with the coach to develop and implement race strategies, as well as learn to anticipate movements and make critical decisions.  Steerers stand at the back of the boat and therefore must possess a keen sense of balance and sure footing. 

Whether you are interested in becoming a dedicated steerer or joining our pool of steerers who also paddle, we invite you to an introductory training session to give it a try.
